Hawaii 5-0

Ok so this has not so much to do with Hawaii, but a lot to do with 5-0. Wendy became a little more familiar with those numbers today! Happy Birthday Mom, Wendy & Grandma! We started the celebrating a little early with a surprise party organized by Kody on Saturday night at one of Wendy's favorite places, Thai Pan.

Balloon boy has nothing on me...


I had the fun job of getting 50 balloons to the big bash! Unfortunately the pick-up time was scheduled for a time when Jake could not help. But my wonderful neighbor/friend Megan offered to help! I could not have done it without her! We loaded balloons in my mom's borrowed car and Megan's truck. Probably not the safest drive I've ever taken, but who needs to see out their windows and mirrors anyways!
(sadly, only 49 balloons made it to the party)

The guests arrived and then the guest of honor arrived with Kody and Lindsay...

After the initial shock came some joy...
