Porter seemed to enjoy his first meal and would grab my hand to help shove the spoon in his mouth.

Yum Yum
The day finally came for Porter to give rice cereal a try. I always heard my friends with kids talk about eating rice cereal and I thought "what's the big deal?", but I guess when it's your own it is a big deal, so now I'm making it a big deal for all of our many blog readers out there (ok, probably just Porter's grandparents).

Wow...did you see that little guy go for it. He is stepping into a new world filled with culinary delights. Oh I can't wait until Grandpa gets the "ok" to feed Porter some manly food ...like bananas, peanut butter and hot dogs (pieces)...ooowe we are going to have fun. I love the natural way in which he grabbed for the spoon. What a good little fella!
