(thanks Grandma T for our camp stove, we love it)
Jake and I were so excited to have a weekend where nothing was scheduled for Friday night or Saturday, so Jake suggested we go camping. Unfortunately our photography skills were lacking so we don't have many pictures to document our trip, but we had a lot of fun. We set up camp and started making our dinner of hot dogs and chips, when we got a visit from our Bishop and his wife and another couple in our ward who were out for a jeep ride. We sat around the fire with them for a couple hours and shared popcorn and cookies. After they left we sat around the fire a little while longer and then went to sleep, very comfortably, on our cots we borrowed from Kody and Wendy. Jake got up early to get the fire started for me and then started on breakfast. We enjoyed breakfast and some time by the fire before we started cleaning up camp. It was so fun to get away for the night.

hahah I love that your bishop decided to drop by...fun stuff.
Can't wait to see you guys next week!!
YOU POSTED! I'm so proud of you Brittney! I wish we could have been there for the camping trip. We have practically no gear here in AZ and little Jake might have frozen, seeing how cold it was.
Next time... give us a ring & we will be prepared!
